Guangzhou Renmin Chemical Factory is a middle state owned chemical enterprise, which manufactures inorganic silicon products, with longest history, biggest scale and most varieties in south China area.
The factory was found in the middle of 1950s. In 1958, using own produced sodium silica as a raw material, it successfully manufactured White Carbon products which named "5801 Precipitated White Carbon". This was the pioneering product in the country. In 1970, it manufactured medical silica product, which is widely used in pharmaceutical industry, this was also a creation in the country. In 1984, it merged Cuangzhou Chromic Salt Factory and Guangzhou Yongxing Chemical Factory and expended its production scale and operation category. In 1985, it built the first production line of micron-sized silica aerogel of the country. In 1989, it manufactured silica sol serial products, in which the 40% high concentration silica sol could be equal to the same kind import products.
After China opening the door to the world, by using the high technology, the factory continuously developed the new products, modified the old process, adjusted the product's structure and expended the production scale. Now it shows a total new outlook to all consumers. And the new products have become the main contribution of the factory.
Now the factory has a serial of products which all using " Bai Leng Pai " brand name. They are chromic oxide , silica sol , medicinal silica , micron-sized silica aerogel , active white carbon , precipitated silicon dioxide , sodium silicate(liquid ,solid) and Waterproof Oil .It also has a food additive (edible aqueous alkali) using "Yongxing" brand name. The annual capacity is 2,000 tons for chromic oxide, 2,000 tons for silica sol, 3,000 tons for white carbon and 100,000 tons for sodium silica. All these prod ucts have excellent function and stable quality, also have very good credibility for all customers. "Bai Ling Pai" sodium silica and chromic oxide have been award as " Provincial Excellent Products " for many times.
The factory has a strong technical team including senior engineer,engineer and other technician about 80 people. So it has a good foundation of customer service, operation management, research & development, and quality assurance.
