Our story begins in the mid-1980s, when we were a modest blending plant, set up with know-how from CPL Aromas, UK , supplying fragrances largely to the Indian personal care, cosmetics and perfume industry.
Our international connection and our desire to compete with the best in the world spurred us to grow to an organisation of strength , developing a catalogue of over 6,000 innovations, and an enviable customer list.
In 2003 GFL acquired a majority shareholding in Quintessence , UK .
In April 2004 ,GFL acquired the Fragrance business of Industrial Perfumes Ltd (IP) from Hindustal Lever Ltd.(Unilever’s Indian Company)
