Chemische Fabrik Kalk GmbH (CFRP), a subsidiary of K + S Group, is now a commercial enterprise. The company was founded as a chemical plant Vorster & Green Mountain, Cologne in 1858 and renamed in 1892 in Chemische Fabrik Kalk GmbH.
