Allied Resins (A unit of ARCL Organics Ltd.) was formed in 1959 with its first Spray Dried Plant at Calcutta in collaboration with Borden Chemicals Ltd. UK, to produce Urea Formaldehyde Resin. Over the years, ARCL has broadened its product range and set up an integrated & computerized petrochemical complex with five new fully automated plants and a direct connection with Calcutta Port for piping of raw material. In the last fifty years ARCL has a number of firsts to its credit, like the first in Asia to manufacture Para Formaldehyde, the first in Asia to manufacture PF Resin Powder among others. Today along with a wide range of Resins & Additives, Hardeners and specialised One-Shot Resins, ARCL has the expertise to offer tailor-made solutions as per our clients requirements.
ARCL is one of the largest producers of powder resins at a single location. Recently ARCL purchased the Urea Formaldehyde Resin business of Atul, formerly named Cibatul, part of Ciba-Giegy of Switzerland. The Phenol Formaldehyde Spray Dried Powder Resin Plant was brought from Canada, North America along with American Know-how. ARCL is the only producer of Phenol Formaldehyde Powder Resins in the whole of Asia today. As a result of all the above mergers & acquisitions, the company today has the experience and know-how from all over the world coupled with its strong R&D of 50 years.
