21 April 2011 - A new Division of GREAT Europe, Farin-Chem is launched to coincide with our becoming the first organisation globally to supply the sustainable maleimide, farinomalein.

31 January 2011 - GREAT Europe locates to The Bio Centre at York Science Park.

21 January 2011 - Collaborative research project with Dr Graham Ormondroyd from the Bio-Composites team at Bangor University begins.

3 December 2010 - Growth Funding is obtained from The Whyte Knight Fund in York.

26 November 2010 - GREAT Europe obtains major commercial sponsorship from a multinational membrane filtration supplier to aid with development of its novel biopolymers.

31 August 2010 - A Business Link Innovation Voucher is awarded to GREAT Europe for research into a new breed of high performance biopolymer materials.

30 April 2010 - £30k Grant commitment received from Yorkshire Forward for a proposed £50k R&D project in to novel regenerable adsorbent monoliths.
