The Orient-Salt Group consists of three company. The core enterprise, Orient-Salt Chemicals Pte Ltd, was incorporated on 5 June 2015. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Abundance International Ltd.Touen Japan Co., Ltd was incorporated in Tokyo, Japan on 26 October 2015, while Orient-Salt Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd was incorporated in Shanghai, China on 21 December the same year. Managed and operating as a combined group and working hand-in-hand, our three companies have jointly built an extensive import and export trade network, and continue to actively explore new collaborations and investments.While China as our base, the Orient-Salt Group covers the whole of Asia. We trade in essential raw materials used by chemical manufacturing plants, commodity chemicals and their derivatives. Through integrating our resources and efficient logistic organisation, by leveraging on our information network and capital strength and coupled with strict quality control, we strive to offer our customers excellent products and services.History and Development:The key management staff of the Orient-Salt Group were formerly from a state-owned chemical trading enterprise set up in 1998 which was subsequently privatized in 2002.As one of the earliest Chinese companies engaging in chemical exports, and after years of hard work and accumulation of experience, these key management staff have built up a loyal customer base and established strong business relationships with many internationally well-known enterprises.Our Strengths:1. Group Structure with Onshore and Offshore companies: The Shanghai office is our main center of operations, and it is supported by our other China offices in Guangzhou, Fujian and Shandong. Our parent company in Singapore provides financial and banking support, whereas our Japanese office leads our foray into North-East Asia. This group structure allows us to reap the maximum benefits of our chemical trading operations by keeping us abreast with the latest news, giving us an advantage in purchasing goods, and broadening our sales and distribution network.2. Working closely with chemical manufacturers to explore new business with our extensive and huge trading volume, we work hand-in-hand with chemical plants in sourcing raw materials for them and distributing their end products. Where appropriate, we also enter into toll manufacturing arrangements with such chemical plants.Such flexible and innovative arrangements allow us to mitigate our business risk or increase our margins and sales. Our cooperation with Zhangjianggang Kellin Chemicals is a successful case study of a collaboration between our group and a chemical manufacturing plant where risks and rewards are borne and enjoyed jointly.3. Integrating our domestic and international trades by integrating the strong supplier and customer bases of our domestic and international sales departments, and encouraging frequent sharing of information, we are able to gain better insights into latest trends in various markets and increase our revenues for purchasing and sales. With this, we are in a better position to formulate our development, market positioning and inventory management. In line with China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative, we can avail ourselves of favorable government policies. We will constantly increase our logistic efficiency, extend our geographical reach, and improve our service in order to keep and enlarge our customer base.4. Branching into upstream and downstream products: It has been our long-held belief that we have to continue exploring collaborations involving upstream and down stream products. Being involved in a wider range of chemicals spanning the production cycle would open up more business opportunities for us.
