Vallabh Pesticides have been one of the oldest and well equipped pesticides formulation plant in the state of Gujarat. The company has capacities to formulate only liquid formulations. The factory area is about 8200 SQ. mtrs. of which main formulation plants is housed in an area of about 700 SQ. mtrs. There are 4 godowns located within the factory premises each of 300 SQ. mtrs. Capacity. The civil structure is adequately supported by an administrative office of 200 SQ. mtrs. and a lab of 100 sq. mtrs.
The main operation plant consists of 3 SS 316 formulation vessel each with a capacity of 2.5 KL accompanied by a stand by storage tanks of 4 Nos. with varying capacities. Further in terms of packing of material and company has presently 2 head automatic filling machine, 2 volumetric filling machine and a new 4 head automatic filling machine with necessary screw capping and plugging machine. With all these facilities and company can conveniently formulate daily about 20 KL of material on a 2 shift basis with an optional 3rd shift available if required. We have 35 workers with good experience and 5 supervisors in the factory.
Matching the production facilities adequate packing facilities are also available in terms of OTS seaming machines, ROPP capping machine, shrink wrap tunnels, heat sealing machines, box strapping machines etc. There has been an constant up-gradation of facility both in the packing and production line.

In respect of utilities there is a hot water bath for melting of solid products and offsite storage facility for solvents for storing 75 KL of solvents duly approved by the Explosive Directorate, Nagpur.
Matching the production and packing facilities the unit is also well equipped in the laboratory with a 'NETAL' GAS CHROMATO GRAPH, HPLC, UV-VIS SPECTOPHOTO METER and other various accessories required to run the lab efficiently. We have one well experienced Q.C. and 2 Chemists.
The company is one of the very few small scale units having installed pollution control facilities at its plant. Even though the Company has no liquid effluent from the plant, nevertheless lab washed water is treated by collecting in a collection tank and treating with alkalic solution for decomposition of toxic material and then evaporated pan. Chemical vapor generated during the process in the plant is scrubbed and de-odoured in the scrubber and pure air is released in the atmosphere through 30 mtrs. high chimney. The company has secured all necessary approvals in terms of various provisions under the Pollution Control Act from Gujarat Pollution Control Board.
Presently the company manufactured about 12 different types of formulations varying pack size and the products are marketed through Godrej Agrovet Limited, BASF India Limited, United Phosphorus Limited and Shaw Wallace Agrochemicals Limited under respective trade name of the marketing company.
