Ralson Carbon Black was a subsidiary of Ralson India, one of the leading bicycle tyre manufacturers.. The Carbon Black Plant was established in a village called Malerkotla, near Ludhiana, Punjab in the year 1984 with an installed capacity of 10,000 TPA which was enhanced to 20,000 TPA in the year 1989 and subsequently to 25,000 TPA in 2002.

Goodluck carbon was in business with Ralson Carbon from 2005 and finally took over the plant and the Brand name on lease in February, 2011. After the alliance, the plant started in February itself.

In 1980’s , the making of Carbon Black as per ASTM Standards would not have been possible without Foreign Collaboration but, we could do it transforming successfully Philips Technology indigenously into our plant and were able to make all grades of Carbon Black as per ASTM Standards which are accepted by the Tyre Companies. The company main aim is customer satisfaction. We are able to provide customer specific gradient of carbon black to our buyers.

With the changing time, we obtained expertise in up-grading the different processes for better economies / yield, environment, consistency and power generation. Ralson Carbon has been certified as ISO 9002 company by BSI, U.K. for effectively implementing the systems & documentation and very soon to achieve the revised version i.e. ISO-2001 – 9008.
