In 1988, IRMAL was incorporated to facilitate trade between Malaysia and Middle East countries. IRMAL has since expanded to include exports from countries around the Asia Pacific region to West Asia, East Africa, Latin America and North America.
IRMAL focuses on being the agent, distributor and international trader of industrial chemicals and rubber raw materials to both domestic and multinational companies operating in Malaysia and around the world.

IRMAL diversified from being solely a trading company to a specialist manufacturer of Palm -based Oleo chemicals. This was achieved with close collaboration from a leading Oleo chemicals company in Malaysia.
