Anchor Chemicals’ business initially operated as a sole proprietorship engaged primarily in buying and selling of Pharmaceutical Chemicals within the Philippines local markets. Operating on a shoestring budget and with a handful of carefully selected support staff, the company was able to soar to greater heights, attributing to the determination, dedication, and entrepreneurial acumen of its patriarch.
In 1980’s, riding on the crest of import boom, Anchor Chemicals became actively engaged in import activities, thus became importer and distributor of various foreign leading chemical manufacturer.
What started as a wholesaler of pharmaceutical chemicals operating on a small scale, grew into a large scale wholesaler and retailer of a broad range of chemical products – pharmaceutical and veterinary raw materials, antibiotics and vitamins, food, industrial and cosmetic chemicals, sourcing domestically and internationally, serving both local and foreign markets.
In 1985, Anchor Chemicals was formally made into a family corporation with its patriarch serving as President. The company’s commitment is to supply quality high-grade chemicals to cater the requirements of leading companies engaging in manufacturing variety of chemical products across the country.
Today, after almost four decades, Anchor Chemicals, Inc. has to its credit its reputable name for quality and service in the chemical industry.
