Existing nanofabrication techniques are physical and chemical methods. Common physical methods are grinding, PWE, and plasma-aided methods, while chemical methods mostly involve chemical reduction. Both physical and chemical methods have the same drawbacks of high production costs, high energy consumption, and difficulty in the control over the particle size distribution and purity. Fully aware of the fact that nanofabrication is the key to broader applications of nanomaterials, LIWEI has, after years of efforts, successfully developed a nanofabrication method different from existing techniques. It is therefore capable of mass producing nanomaterials with narrow size distribution (with particle size as small as 2nm), consistent morphology, and high purity, allowing further modification and application of its nanomaterials.
