West Link Solar started distributing and installating solar power and lighting systems in September 2006 trading as Solar Energy Systems. The company has diversified into project design, construction and upgrade of standalone solar power systems from 1kW - 15kW systems.

The company has partnered internationally recognized UK based company - Dulas Solar for Medical Solar Refrigeration since 2009, for distribution and service in Papua New Guinea. These fully solar powered medical refrigeration is more compatible for public health and immunization in rural areas where there is no grid power system.
