Del Amo Chemical Company began in a garage near Del Amo Blvd. in the South Bay by Harrod Pettigrew. He wanted to help other small businesses in the community by distributing chemicals in a size more suitable to smaller companies.

He built up a relationship with other companies in the community an established the company that Del Amo Chemical is today.

When Harrod passed away, his son, Ronald assumed the responsibility of continuing in his father's tradition of helping the small companies continue purchasing small quantities of materials as they needed them.

In the last twenty years he has expanded the business and has never forgotten the people who helped make this business grow.

Del Amo Chemical is proud to be there for everyone who needs our services. We are not just a Chemical Distributor, we are there for all our customers. If you need a chemical that you can't find, we will do our best to find it for you. We may not always be able to supply the materials, but in most cases, we will find someone who can.
