Our company mainly engages in the research, development, production and marketing of natural drugs and modern Chinese medicines.Xuezhikang capsule (XZK), the lipid-regulating Chinese medicine, is a leading product of WPU. It is an extract from Red Yeast Rice (Hong Qu) and is highly effective in reducing body's TC, TG, and LDL-C atherosclerosis index (AI) and elevating HDL-C level. A randomized placebo-controlled trial, the Chinese Coronary Secondary Prevention Study (CCSPS), published in June 15 issue of the American Journal of Cardiology shows that, the long-term therapy with XZK significantly decreased the recurrence of coronary events. The IND application of XZK in the USA has been approved in September of 2008.
