In 1986, following the acquisition of Abbott's industrial amines business division by Air Products and Chemicals (U.S.A), our corporate name was changed from San-Abbott to the present San-Apro reflecting a new partnership formed between Sanyo and Air Products.
SAN-APRO is now supplying a variety of unique specialty chemicals to many fields, domestic and overseas, such as super base compounds for various organic syntheses, catalysts for polyurethane, accelerators for epoxy resins, photo-acid generators, rust inhibitors, and others.
SAN-APRO is determined to continue its effort to create new specialty products through intensified R&D and marketing activities.
