■Apr., 1927 Nichi-Futsu Trading Company was established by Kaoru Ikeda, later the company name was changed to Ikeda Gomei Kaisha.

■May., 1956 Ikeda Corporation was established. Kaoru Ikeda became president of the corporation. Head office : Yaesu Bldg., Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo

■Apr., 1964 The export and import business was transferred from Ikeda Gomei Kaisha to Ikeda corporation

■Feb., 1965 The head office moved to New Tokyo Bldg., in Marunouchi.

■Jan., 1967 Nobuhiko Ikeda became president.

■Sept., 1975 Ikeda Sales Co., Ltd was established to expand domestic sales.

■Sept., 1977 Better Life Inc. was established to market the personal care products from U.S.A and Europe.

■Mar., 1982 Ikeda International (Hong Kong)Ltd.(I.H.L) was established as local subsidiary in Hong Kong.

■Jun., 1984 Ikeda Corporation of America (I.C.A.) was established as local subsidiary in the United States.

■Feb., 1986 New York office of I.C.A. was opened.Innovation Chemical Corporation was established to create and manufacture fine fragrance.

■Aug., 1986 Yokohama distribution Center was opened.

■Oct., 1987 Ikeda Sales Co.Ltd., was renamed as Ikeda Industries Corporation.

■Apr., 1989 The Paid up capital of Ikeda Corporation was increased to \100,000,000.

■Dec., 2000 Ikeda Industries Corporation merged Ikeda Gomei Kaisha.

■Oct., 2002 The headquarters of the sales department moved to Ikeda Building in Hodogaya, Yokohama.
