Osaka Organic Chemical Industry Ltd. is a Japan-based chemical company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of esterified products, organic synthetic products and specialty chemicals, among others. The Company operates in three segments. The Chemicals segment manufactures and sells specialty acrylic acid ester and acrylic acid for paints, adhesives and inks. The Electronic Materials segment manufactures and sells electronic materials, such as displays and semiconductors. The Functional Chemicals segment manufactures and sells organic fine chemicals, and materials for cosmetics and pharmaceutical intermediate. As of November 30, 2012, the Company had one subsidiary and two associated companies.
